Yogi - Kristen Bentley

With 20 years of experience in Group Fitness, Kristen discovered the calming benefits of yoga 8 years ago and has been fascinated with yoga ever since!  In 2017 she attended over 200 hours of Training & continues to share her journey through teaching yoga.  Married for 17 years, Kristen has a 14 year old son, and a 4 year old cattle dog, and has been a gold coast local for the past 10 years.  Kristen has an Honours degree in Psychology from Griffith University & works full time for a Biotechnology company in the area of Multiple Sclerosis. Kristen is passionate about sharing the science of yoga and how the brain can change itself, cellular healing and the power of breathing. 

Classes include Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Gentle Yoga using Pranayama (breath energy), focusing on a moving mindfulness that encourages awareness of self & body. Kristen is sensitive to the emotional wellness of her clients, helping them find relaxation, comfort, calmness to help raise their vibration, promote healing whilst facilitating lightness & fun! 

Tue 6-6.45pm Gentle Yoga

This class uses breath-energy (pranayama) for a moving meditation that encourages awareness of self & body.  Great for those with little or no experience, injuries or rehabilitation or anyone who wants to release tension & calm the mind. You will leave feeling both energised and relaxed.

Sat 8.15am- 9am Flow Yoga

This class involves a flowing sequence of postures designed to help you gradually build strength, improve your postural alignment, stimulate balance & increase your awareness of spinal function.  Always finishing with breathing & relaxation to create balance & harmony within the body, mind & soul.
